Privacy Policy

Who we are
This site is operated by Ampersand Labs, based in Zürich, Switzerland. We can be reached at hello@ampersand.ch.
What we collect
We try to keep things minimal. Depending on how you use the site, we may process:
- Server logs IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp. Used to keep the site running and protect it from abuse. Rotated regularly.
- Contact details you send us if you fill in the contact form or write us an email, we receive your name, email address and the content of your message.
- Booking data when you schedule a call through our booking link, the booking provider collects the data needed to set up the meeting (name, email, time slot).
Cookies and analytics
Our own visitor statistics use Plausible, hosted by us in Switzerland. It sets no cookies and stores no personal data, so it runs without asking. Everything listed below under advertising measurement loads only after you accept it in the cookie banner, and you can withdraw that at any time.
Advertising measurement
We run a small number of ads. To know which of them bring people to this site, and only with your consent, we load the following tools. Each sets cookies or reads a browser identifier and sends visit data to its provider, who may combine it with data it holds about you.
- Meta Pixel Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. Records page views, contact requests and booking clicks to measure ads on Facebook and Instagram.
- Google Ads conversion tracking Google Ireland Ltd. Records visits and contact requests to measure ads on Google.
- OpenAI ads pixel OpenAI. Records page views, the services and articles you open, contact requests and booking clicks to measure ads shown in ChatGPT. When you send the contact form with consent given, we also pass a hashed version of your email address and name to OpenAI so the enquiry can be matched to an ad click.
- Sortlist Radar Sortlist SA. Records visits coming from our Sortlist profile.
- Overloop Overloop SA. Identifies the company a visit comes from, based on the network address, to help us follow up with businesses that showed interest.
Independently of the banner, the contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA (Google Ireland Ltd.), which analyses your interaction to tell people from bots, and form messages are delivered through Brevo. The site is hosted on Vercel.
Cookies and browser storage in detail
What is stored in your browser, by whom, why, and for how long. "Browser storage" means localStorage, which works like a cookie but is never sent to a server.

Why we process your data
To answer your questions, prepare proposals, run booked meetings, send relevant follow-ups, comply with our legal obligations, and operate and secure the site.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of trusted providers, for hosting, email and meeting scheduling. They process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements and only as needed to deliver their service.
How long we keep it
We keep your data only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as required by Swiss law. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to certain processing. Write to hello@ampersand.ch and we will get back to you.
Applicable law
This policy is governed by Swiss law, in particular the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the GDPR applies, we honour the corresponding rights.
